Finding one’s Friday Night Essense is a fantasitc idea. For someone in their sixties this is not an easy thing to do. Working most of one’s life as a value producer at a dead end job, your childhood dreams fade and desolve away. Finacial aspects in life sort of removes many goals one has when young and forces us to do what can be done to survive. I do not know what my true Friday night essense is any more but I know what i like doing when I am not at my dead-end job.
As far as being a self leader who can plan for the future per say, most of us have families and try the best we can to provide, protect, and plan the best way we know how for the future. At times our plans work out and other times a monkey wrench is tossed in the works to cause a little excitement. One way or the other we usually get through it.
Creating a mini day when you know your movements and can prioritize isn’t much of a problem. Learning all the nitty gritty concepts of the business is the challenge when you work for someone else.Setting up a schedule and sticking to it is the hardest of all. There is always interruptions from everyday situations to disrupt the schedule especially when other people are calling the shots.Owning your own business makes this more realistic where no one else can interfer with what and how you do something. True there will be times when the schedule is interupted but it won’t be as much as when you work for someone else. Your consepts do work but not in the reguards when you are not in a leadership position and no hope for such because of age or educational background.
I could use help in finding my Friday night essense. It has been a while since I even thought such things. The rest is just situation and opportunity where you could learn, practice and apply these concepts. After a short time , you would become great.
