I’m understanding something that was shown on this first meeting. What stood out to me the most was playing. Have a child like spirit with your friday night essence. It’s like we start off free and then become trapped by the stagnation of the rest of society. I’m 22 years young and I’m beginning to feel the stagnation of society and I HATE IT. I desperately reached out to stop my soul from dying. This desperation to keep my child-like spirit has led me here. I understand and it is engrained now. We need to find out what makes us feel like playing and do that everyday. Find our heart racing activities that will breathe life into us again. In learning that, we could never grow tired of doing what we are meant to do. I understand why there are so many people who long for the weekends. They are not doing what they’ve always wanted to do or what makes them feel that exhilaration every single day.
Yes Dan you are correct. I have studied the Heirlooms, and in addition I have meet with very successful and wealthy individuals. What they all have in common is none of them “WORK” they all play, just as Mark says. When you find that one thing you find yourself doing all the time, so much that time flies by not just hours but days and you still enjoy doing it. Then you have found your child of the past. Until then just do your work, but find ways to create more value in doing the daily grind. This really helps me when I’m doing a job vs. my friday night essence, F.N.E.
